Ruby Aycock Armstrong, 97, passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2014 in Bartow, FL.  Mrs. Armstrong was born August 15, 1917 in Geneva, AL and moved to the Homeland and Fort Meade, FL area in 1998.  She was a homemaker and member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in Fort Meade.

   Mrs. Armstrong was preceded in death by her parents, J.T. and Neely Aycock; husband, Ralph Armstrong, Sr.; sons, Ralph Armstrong, Jr., Bobby Armstrong, and Dr. Harold E. Armstrong, Ph.D.; brother, Wilburn Aycock; sisters, Nettie Adams, Rincey Thurston, Maggie Crews and Johnnie Other.

   She is survived by her son, Bill Armstrong and wife Audrey, Fort Meade, FL; daughter, Dorinda Sue Bell, McMinnville, TN; brother, Rex Aycock, Enterprise, AL; sisters, Jewel McDougald, Homeland, FL and Robbie Morris, Orlando, FL; twelve grandchildren; nine great- grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren.

    Visitation will be held 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 20, 2014 at Hancock Funeral Home, 945 E. Broadway, Fort Meade, FL.  Funeral services in Fort Meade will follow the visitation at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.  Funeral services in Geneva, AL will be held 11:00 a.m., Central Time, Monday, December 22, 2014 from the graveside in the Eden Baptist Church Cemetery with Pittman Funeral Home of Geneva directing.
