Ruby Frances Willis, 86, of Ozark, AL passed away Friday, March 15, 2013 at Oakview Manor.


Funeral services will be 11 am Monday, March 18, 2013 at Hillcrest Baptist Church in Ozark with Rev. Dennis Tew officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends from 10-11 am prior to the service at the church.


Mrs. Willis was born May 31, 1926. She was a longtime member of Hillcrest Baptist Church in Ozark, joining the church on May 17, 1942 at the age of 16. She was employed with Oakview Manor in housekeeping for several years until her retirement. Mrs. Willis was preceded in death by her husband Louie G. Willis; parents Jim and Fannie Cook; brothers, Floyd Cook, John Neal Cook, and Ray Don Cook, Sr.; a sister Jimmie Lou Casey.


Survivors include a sister-in-law, Robbie Willis; nieces and nephews, Pam and Tim Silavent (her caregivers), Sarah Cook Martin, Billy and Sarah Casey, Janice and Carl McEntyre, Ray Don Cook, Jr., Linda Cook Jackson, Lesa Cook Moody, Nina and Bobby Cordell, and Annette Willis; numerous great nieces and nephews; special friends Judy and Benny Ellis.
