Russell Devant Burge, 56, a resident of Malvern passed away Friday, October 18, 2013 at his residence.

Graveside services will be 9 am Wednesday October 23, 2013 in Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Ed Onley and Rev. Paul Edenfield officiating and Robert Byrd directing.

Mr. Burge was born August 11, 1957 in Moss Point, MS and moved to Dothan at an early age. He attended Dothan High School and was employed with SONY from 1976 until the plant closed. He loved music and played in a local band. He also was an avid fisherman and enjoyed hunting. Russell loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father Devant Burge and his son Brent Burge.

Survivors include his daughter Brooke Burge (Mark); grandchildren, Ayden Danielle Noblitt and Cameron Alexander Noblitt; mother Hattie Burge; sister Cathy Hinesley (Wally); several nieces and nephews also survive.
