Funeral service for Ruth Tussey, 84, of Auburn, Alabama, is 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 1, 2015, at Parkway Baptist Church. Bro. Jeff Redmond is officiating. Burial will be held at Auburn Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation is Saturday, February 28, from 6-8 p.m. at Jeffcoat-Trant Funeral Home.

Mrs. Tussey passed away at Bethany House, Wednesday, February 25, 2015. She was born April 19, 1930, in Kentucky.  She was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ, long-time faithful member of Parkway Baptist Church, and an avid prayer warrior.

Mrs. Tussey is preceded in death by her husband Forrest Tussey; parents Taylor and Ora Hurt; sister Edwina Faye Storms; and granddaughters, Cathryn Elaine Waller and Amy Nicole Waller.  Survivors include two daughters, Peggy (Ed) Waller, Donna (James) Bartley; two sons, Randall (Brigid) Tussey, and Kenneth Gibson Tussey; grandchildren, Paris (Tyler) Tickle and Britnie Tomecko; great-grandchild, Payton Ruth Tickle; one brother, Russell (Joann) Hurt; special fuzzy children, Hope and Joy; and several brothers-in-law, sisters-in law, nieces, and nephews.
