Sallie Mae Phillips Henderson, age 88, of Headland, AL., passed away on Sunday, June 29, 2014.

 

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at 11 AM, from the chapel of Ward Wilson Funeral Home with Pastor Eric Norris officiating. Burial will follow at Union Springs Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery. Family will be accepting visitors at the Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 from 6-8 PM.

 

Mrs. Henderson was born November 26, 1925 in Columbia, AL., to the late Dan and Sallie Suggs Phillips. She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Henderson; son Gerald Daymon “Buddy” Henderson; two grandchildren, Jessica Henderson Peacock and Richard Lamar Henderson; and two brothers and sisters.

 

She is survived by her three daughters, Martha Lois McClendon (Jimmy), Audrey Crooms (Jody) and Karon Donaldson; son, Don Lamar Henderson, Stanley Henderson (Patricia); brother, Bobby Phillips; seventeen grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

 

The family is accepting flowers.
