Mrs. Sammie Dale Hughes of Jack passed away on Monday, April 4, 2016.  She was 81

Graveside funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 8, 2016 at Mt. Olive Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Enterprise directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 5 – 7 p.m.

Mrs. Hughes was born November 1, 1934, in Coffee County, to the late Samuel and Bertha Mae Oliver Faircloth.  She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Hughes; her daughter, Susan Senn; five sisters; and one brother.

Survivors include three sons: Rex Hughes (Rhonda) of Jack, Danny Hughes of Jack, and Mike Hughes of Troy; two sisters: Frances Rigsby of Columbus, GA, and Sue Tindol of Jack; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
