Mrs. Sandra Joyce Beagles of County Road 10, Samson, Alabama passed away suddenly Friday, November 14, 2014.  She was 64.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 17, 2014, in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home in Geneva with Rev. Eddie Gossett officiating.   Burial will follow in the Flat Creek Assembly of God Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral and Crematory of Geneva directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, November 16, from 5 until 8 p.m.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

Sandra was born March 28, 1950, in Covington County, Alabama to the late Benjamin Otis, Sr., and Carrie Thelma Coon Gunter.  She was very talented and could do anything she put her mind to.  Sandy was a very devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister who loved deeply and enjoyed taking care of her family.  She was a Godly lady and attended West Highland Assembly of God in Andalusia.

Survivors include her husband, Donald Harvey Beagles of Samson; one daughter, Cindy Melissa Elmore of Samson; one son, Michael James (Amy) Harrison of Andalusia; one step son, Jamie Donnell (Anny) Beagles of Samson; grandchildren: Haylee Jordan Elmore, Alexis Danielle Harrison, Destinee Paige Harrison, Chelsi Marie Brooks and Austin Cade Brooks, Ferguson and Graham Beagles; one brother, Buddy (Angela) Gunter of Andalusia; three sisters: Linda Faye (Jimmie) Black of Enterprise, Diane (Ronnie) Reeves of Andalusia, and Loraine (Gary Wayne) Sutton of Red Level; step mother, Claire Bulger; two half-brothers; Benji (Lisa) Gunter and Keith (Amanda) Gunter, all of Andalusia; two step brothers: David (Melanie) Dreading of Andalusia and Ricky (Juanice) Dreading of Opp; several special nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law, other extended family and friends.

Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Walters, William Tidwell, Tinker Watson, Tim Black, Jason Black and Chris Cawthon.
