Sandra Tidwell Richard of Geneva passed away at the family residence on Wednesday, July 17, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer.  She was 54.  Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 22, 2013 in the chapel of Pittman Funeral Home in Geneva with Rev. Donnie Earles officiating.  Burial will follow at Asbury United Methodist Church Cemetery with Pittman Funeral Home of Geneva directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, July 21, 2013 from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m.

 Mrs. Richard was born in Geneva County, AL on May 21, 1959 to Sue Parker Stafford and the late Clem Stafford.  She was also preceded in death by an infant granddaughter, Jessica Williams.

 She is survived by her husband, Gene Richard of Geneva; mother, Sue Parker Stafford of Samson; three daughters, Kelley Richard of Samson, Christy Webster (Scott) of Geneva and Brandy Tidwell of Samson; Ten grandchildren, Jennifer, Samantha and Karen Breeden, Christopher, Michael, Damron and Rainee Webster, Alex and Austin Torres, and Skyler Webster; sister, Cynthia Stafford and brother, Greg Stafford; nephew, Shaun Yeomans; two nieces, Shannon Sims, all of Samson and Melissa Smith of Geneva; one aunt, two uncles and lots of great nieces, nephews and cousins.  Mrs. Richard was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and niece.
