Scottey Allen Carr passed away Friday, November 7, 2014. He was 43 years old.


Memorial services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 10, 2014 at Sunset Funeral Home with Brother Gene Clark officiating.


Scottey was born on November 17, 1970 to William Lawrence Carr Jr. and Vela May Doster Sigers in Ozark, AL. Scottey was a laborer and construction worker and spent his time off fishing and hunting. He loved the outdoors and spending time with his family. Scottey was preceded in death by William Lawrence Carr Jr., Tony Carr, and Daniel Carr, and will be reunited with loved ones in heaven.


Scottey is survived by his wife Monica Peacock Carr of Ozark; four children, Justin Bass of Echo, Magen Enfinger of Ozark, Brandon Carr of Opelika, and Michael Jones Carr of Eufaula; four grandchildren; his mother Vela May Sigers of Georgetown, GA; three sisters, Patricia Carr of Georgetown, GA, Paula Carr Jones of Columbus, GA, and Dovie Sigers Garrett of Eufaula; two brothers, Charlie Sigers Jr. of Valley, AL and Jason Sigers of Clio, AL; several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
