Stan Standridge, 75, a resident of Slocomb, AL passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at Pathway Baptist Church with Pastor Danny Starling officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church.

Stan was born May 7, 1941 in Gainesville Florida and spent the early part of his life there. He was employed with International Harvester in the Parts Department for 18 years prior to moving to the Wiregrass where he was employed with Canaan Industries and AgSpray for several years until his retirement in 2010. Stan enjoyed farming and raising cattle, he was an avid Florida Gator Fan, and was a member of Pathway Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Annie Standridge, his brother, Tommy Standridge, his twin sister, Alma Jane Melton, and his great-grandson, Dylan Charles Fox.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years Loiselle Standridge; his daughters, Cindie (Mike) Shaughnessy, Angie Standridge, and Tangela (Terry) Conner; his grandchildren, Jessica (Shane) McNemar, Christie Fox, David Fox, Jamie Fox, Christopher Conner, Allison Conner, and April (Justin) Luker; 18 great-grandchildren; his brother, Lenley (Rita) Standridge; his sister, Karen (Billy) Hickson; several nieces and nephews.
