FT. GAINES, GEORGIA. . .Stephanie Cornett Wilson, a resident of Ft. Gaines, Georgia,  died Monday afternoon, November 17, 2014, at her home. She was 60.

            Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. (C.S.T.) Friday, November 21, 2014, in the Holman-Abbeville Mortuary Chapel with Reverend Kevin Knight officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:30 until 6:30 P.M. (C.S.T.) Thursday at the mortuary in Abbeville.

            Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the family for funeral expenses, c/o P.O. Box 646, Ft. Gaines, GA 39851.

            Mrs. Wilson was born in Casablanca, Morocco and formerly lived in Sanford, Florida and Nashville, Tennessee before moving to Ft. Gaines in 1996. She was a member of the Trinity Church of the Nazarene in Nashville. Mrs. Wilson was formerly employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Nashville. From the age of thirteen, she served as church pianist at several churches and as a music teacher.

            Surviving relatives include her husband, James W. (Jim) Wilson, Ft. Gaines; a daughter, Julie Ann Wilson, Indianapolis, Indiana; a son, James Scott Wilson (Christine), Brandenburg, KY; her parents, Art and Eileen Cornett, Ft. Gaines; two sisters, Diane Watson (Paul), Sanford, FL; and Rebecca Cornett, Ft. Gaines; three grandchildren, Bethany Wilson, Caleb Wilson and John Horner.
