Steven Michael Hendry of Chancellor, AL and formerly of Mobile, AL passed away on Monday, February 13, 2017. He was 61.

A memorial service will be held at the home of the family: 2609 Dell Dr, Mobile, AL 36695 on Saturday, February 18, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until.

Mr. Hendry was born on December 30, 1955 in Leon County, FL. Steven graduated from Theodore High School with the class of 1973.  He served in the US Army and later served in the National Guard for 10 + years. Prior to his retirement, he served as field support manager for Pilot Catastrophe Services in Mobile. He loved to golf and ride motorcycles. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother.  

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Nancy A. Hendry of Chancellor, AL; two daughters, Jessica Conner (Scott), and Jennie Hendry (Brandon Burchfield) all of Mobile, AL; one son, Justin Hendry (Shannon) of Fishers, IN; six grandchildren, Brittney Hendry, Mackenzie Hendry, Kayla Steinbring, Ethan Hendry, Alayna Wilkins, and Bella Hendry; mother, Peggy Hendry of Theodore, AL; father, John Hendry (Cheryl) of Pensacola, FL; four brothers, David Hendry (Melba)  of Biloxi, MS, Mark Hendry of Irvington, AL, Andrew Hendry (Lauren) of Mobile, AL, Ronnie Hendry (Wendy) of Utah; one sister, Kim Stacy (John) Pensacola, FL; and a host of  special friends.
