Mrs. Susanette Howell of Enterprise, Alabama passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2015 in Dothan, Alabama.  She was 86.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Friday, September 4, 2015 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home and Crematory in Enterprise with Reverend Larry Doster officiating.  Private burial will follow in the Enterprise City Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home and Crematory directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday beginning at 10:00 and continuing until service time.

Mrs. Howell was born December 10, 1928 in Coffee County to the late John D. and Minnie Belle Jackson Hughes.  She was a faithful member of Lee Street Baptist Church.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Maxell Howell, a son, Tony Howell; 3 brothers and 1 sister.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Marcus Paul and Susan Howell of Enterprise, AL; 4 brothers: Alvie D. Hughes (Hazel), John Bell Hughes (Willene), all of Enterprise, Harrison Hughes (Myra), Opp, AL, Wendell Hughes (Sylvia), Enterprise; 2 sisters: Vonnie Lee and Jessie Johnson, both of Enterprise; 1 grandchild, Kelly Daniel (Jeff); several nieces and nephews.
