Sybil Hautence Fondren of Hartford passed away Friday, June 26, 2015. She was 96.

 

Funeral services will be held at 10am Monday, June 29, 2015 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Scott Byrd officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery under the direction of Jimmy Bottoms of Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 4pm to 6pm Sunday, June 28, 2015 at Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home in Hartford.

 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie T. “Junior” Fondren; two daughters, Sara F. Hughes and Lillian L. Fondren; one great-grandson, Adam Hughes.

 

She is survived by one son, Bobby Fondren of Hartford; one daughter, Virginia Fondren of Slocomb; eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; two sisters, Blondell Williams of Dothan and Rosa Milton of Atlanta, GA.
