Teresa Kay Williams Huff passed away Sunday, January 25, 2015 at the family residence in New Brockton.  She was 55.

 

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 29, 2015, at Bethany Baptist Church with Reverend Ben Amlong and Reverend Mike Medley officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory directing.  The family will receive friends at the church Thursday beginning at 10:00 a.m. and continuing until service time.

 

Flowers will be accepted, or contributions in memory of Teresa may be made to the SOS Animal Shelter, 25944 Alabama 134, Enterprise, AL 36330.

 

Teresa was born January 28, 1959 in Highland Park, Illinois, to Lillie Williams and the late Edward Williams.  She married the love of her life, Terry Huff, October 4, 1980.  Even as a child, Teresa was very creative, enjoying decorative art and floral design, and she was a successful owner and operator of New Brockton Florist and Gifts.  Teresa passionately loved her family, her friends, and her cats.

 

Survivors include her husband, Terry Huff, of New Brockton; son, Donald Huff (Alisha) of Elba; daughter, Valerie Barksdale of New Brockton; mother, Lillie Yohn Hall of Enterprise; sister, Marie Harrison (Jackie) of Enterprise; 4 grandchildren: Christopher, Tyler, Clayton, and Victoria; 3 great-grandchildren: Jackson, Ryley, and Alyssa; 2 special nieces: Adrienne Handley and Whitney Yarbrough.
