HEADLAND…Teri Lynn Kennington Harrell, a resident of Headland, died Sunday afternoon, May 26, 2013, at her home. She was 40.


            Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, May 29, 2013, in the Holman-Headland Mortuary Chapel with Reverend Rinnie Evans and Reverend Jimmy Evans officiating. Graveside services will follow in the Balkum Cemetery in the Tumbleton Community with Reverend Tom Chestnut officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at the mortuary in Headland.


            Teri Lynn Harrell was born and reared in Enterprise and lived in Ozark before moving to Headland fifteen years ago. She was employed by Wiregrass Couriers as a Courier Guard. She attended Balkum Baptist Church. Teri Lynn was preceded in death by her father, Billy Ray Kennington, Sr.


            Surviving relatives include three sons, Steven Scroggins (Lindsey Heath), Kinsey; Kevin Scroggins, and Brandon Harrell, both of Headland; her mother, Janice Chancey McKinnon and her husband, Coy; a sister, Pam Watson; a brother, Billy Ray Kennington, Jr., all of Ozark; two grandchildren, Kyle Scroggins and Lillyanha Scroggins; her grandmother, Marie Harrison Chancey, Enterprise; aunts and uncles, Jimmy and Dianne Evans, Graham, NC; Gerald and Yvonne Chancey, and Patricia Weinrich, all of Ozark; two nieces, Angel Kennington and Ashley Whitt.
