Terry Grant Pate of Ashford passed away Thursday, May 9, 2013, at the Southeast Alabama Medical Center. He was 48.
Funeral services will be held at 1 P.M. Monday, May 13, 2013, at Antioch Baptist Church with Reverends Greg Aman and John Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.
The family will receive friends at the church from 12 to 1 P.M. Monday, May 13, 2013, one hour prior to the service. Flowers will be accepted.
Terry worked at Southeast Alabama Medical Center for 30 years and was loved by everyone he worked with.
He is preceded in death by his father, Jack Pate, brothers, Charles Pate, Jerome Pate, and sister, Sue Johnson.
Survivors include his mother, Inez Pate of Ashford; brother, John Pate of Ashford; sister, Eleanor Knight and her husband, Jerry of Ashford; brother, Glen Pate and his wife, Barbara of Ashford; sister, Denise Tate and her husband, Greg of Ashford; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Ned Terry, Bill Gray, David Pytlewicz, Bob Pope, Doug Pope, Michael Nall, Tony Jimmerson, and Michael Hicks.
