Thomas Harold Childree, Jr. passed away Friday, April 17, 2015 at Dale Medical Center. He was 60 years of age.

A memorial celebration will be held 4:00 p.m. Monday, April 20, 2015 at Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Carroll Senn officiating and Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 2:30-4:00 p.m. Monday afternoon at the funeral home prior to service.

Mr. Childree was born August 12, 1954 in Dale County, Alabama. He was a mechanic and was always working in his shop. He was known for making jokes and continued doing so until the end. Not only was he spiritual, he was a true Christian man and a faithful son.

Mr. Childree is survived by his parents, Thomas Harold Childree, Sr. and JoAnn Childree; sister, Rhoda Childree Hall (Jerel); brother, Markham Keith Childree, Sr. (Lori); and a son, Matthew Drake Childree.
