Mr. Thomas Wesley Williams, age 79,  a resident of Dothan died Saturday September 7, 2013 at Flowers Hospital following an extended illness. 

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday September 21, 2013 at the Westwood Presbyterian Church with Pastor David Temples officiating. 

The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to services at Westwood Presbyterian.  Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Westwood Presbyterian Church, 5480 W. Main St., Dothan, AL  36305. 

Mr. Williams was born on January 17, 1934 in Middleton, Ohio the son of Woodrow Thurmon Williams and Vertie Mae Wilhoit Williams.  Mr. Williams had lived in Miami, FL.; New Smyrna Beach, FL.; and moved to Dothan in 2006 from Somerset, Kentucky.  He retired as a Housing Inspector with the City of Sanford, Florida and previously worked as Assistant Chief Housing Inspector in Dade County, FL.  Mr. Williams was a Korean War Army Veteran, Member of the New Smyrna Beach, Florida Masonic Lodge # 149;  a Scottish Rite Mason and Shriner.  He was a member of the Westwood Presbyterian Church and he loved woodworking.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Martha Anderson and a brother Charles Long.

Survivors include: wife of 46 years, Linda Frizzell Williams, Dothan; two sons, Tom Williams, Jr. (Maggie), Wetumpka; Thomas Joseph "Butch" Williams (Robin), Palm Bay, FL.; daughter, Vikki Beatty (Scott),  Palm Bay, FL.; brother, David Sparks, Lexington, KY.;  8 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
