Tony Z. Skinner, 67, of Dothan passed away Saturday, May 31, 2014 at a local hospital.


Funeral services will be 2 pm Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at Sunset Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.


Mr. Skinner was born November 1, 1946 in Graceville, FL and lived there the early part of his life. He was employed with the Pelham Fire Department in Pelham, GA for 6 years prior to moving to Dothan in 1988. In Dothan he was employed with Pybus Electric company as an electrician until his retirement in 2009. He enjoyed fishing and playing guitar in the Southern Express Band.


Survivors include his wife Ella Skinner; a son Cory Skinner; daughters, Tanya Skinner, Christy (Dwayne) Parish, and Libby Skinner; grandchildren, Mike and Courtney Parish, Brittney and Alyssa Parish, Brandon Skinner, Jayce McElwaney, Karmen Skinner, and Kayla Skinner; great-grandchildren, Layla Milstead, Dameyan Martin, Zane Parish, and Bentley Milstead; brothers, William Skinner, C.J. Skinner, Duran Skinner, Mike Wood, Channy Wood, and Kenny Wood; a sister Brenda Young; several nieces and nephews.
