            Mrs. Veetta J. Anderson of New Brockton, AL passed away Saturday, November 24, 2012 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center.  She was 72.

 

            Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at Goodman Independent Church with Rev. Randy Hartley officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home of Enterprise directing.  The body will be placed into the church one hour prior to service time.  The family will receive friends at Sorrells Funeral Home on Monday from 5 until 7 pm.

 

            Mrs. Anderson was born November 28, 1939 in Coffee County, Alabama to the late Frank and Delsey Tidwell Johnson.  She was a member of Goodman Independent Church.

 

            Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Marion Anderson, New Brockton; three children: Teresa Nolin (Mike), Paul Anderson (Michelle), and Gary Anderson (Kathy), all of New Brockton; five grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
