Obituary:  Vicky Lee Harris

 

            Vicky Lee Harris of Enterprise, AL passed away Thursday, June 27, 2013 in Flowers Hospital.  She was 38.

            Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Saturday, June 29, 2013 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home and Crematory in Enterprise.  Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 1:00 pm until service time.  Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made in Vicky’s memory to the American Cancer Society, c/o Linda Andress, P.O. Box 310900, Enterprise, AL 36331.

            Vicky was born September 25, 1974 in Dale County, AL to James M. and the late Eun Sun Im Milam.  Vicky was a vivacious, devoted mother and loyal friend.  She graciously shared her kind and thoughtful soul. Vicky was adventurous and treasured time camping and fishing with friends and family.  Vicky’s generous and warm heart will live on in all of us forever.  She was employed with the City of Enterprise Revenue Department for several years.  She attended Troy University and was working toward a Master’s degree in Human Resources.  In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her grandmother.

            Survivors include her husband, Richard Harris, Enterprise; 1 son, Richard M. Harris IV (Ritchey), Enterprise; father, James M. “Mike” Milam (Chong Cha), Enterprise; 2 sisters: Lana Sun Milam and Katrina Chong Murphy, both of Enterprise; 1 brother, Douglas Whitehead Murphy, Enterprise.
