VICTOR  MIMS  RILEY

DOTHAN. . .Victor Mims Riley, a resident of Dothan, died Wednesday, December 19, 2012, at his home. He was 55.

            Private family memorial services will be held with Reverend Billy Rich officiating. Holman-Headland Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

            In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Resource Center, P.O. Box 1170, Dothan, AL 36302.

            Victor Riley was born in Jacksonville, Florida and moved to Dothan in 2000. He was a graduate of Choctawhatchee High School in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida and received an Associate’s Degree from Pensacola Junior College. Victor was formerly employed as General Manager of Lamar Billboard Advertising in Lafayette and Lake Charles, Louisiana. He was a member of the Harvest United Methodist Church in Dothan. Victor was preceded in death by his father, James Leonard Riley.

            Surviving relatives include his mother, Elizabeth Mims Riley, Dothan; two daughters, Samantha Doucet Riley and Desiree Doucet Riley both of Lafayette, LA; a grandchild, Chloe Rae Riley; aunts and uncles, Sara Mims Cherry and husband, Johnny Mack Cherry, Dothan; Annette Vinson, Headland; and George Riley, Marianna, FL; several cousins.
