HEADLAND. . .Victoria Lynn Shaw (Vicki) Jenkins, a resident of Headland, died Saturday morning, October 11, 2014, at her home. She was 48.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society (In memory of Bennie and Celia Shaw), 3054 McGehee Road, Montgomery, AL 36111.
Vicki Jenkins was born and reared in Headland, daughter of the late Bennie A. Shaw, Sr. and Celia Calhoun Shaw. She was a graduate of Headland High School and received a B. S. Degree in Psychology from Troy University. Vicki lived in Georgia and Arkansas before returning to Headland in 2012. She was a member of the Headland United Methodist Church. Vicki was formerly employed by Tools For Trades in Canton, Georgia.
Surviving relatives include her husband, Derrick Lynn Jenkins, Headland; a step-daughter, Sierra Lynn Jenkins, Alma, AR; three sisters, Annada Faircloth (Warren); Sara Leonard, Panama City, FL; and Nancy Lee Hatton, Lawrenceville, GA; two brothers, Bennie A. Shaw, Jr. (Teresa); and James C. Shaw (Sybil), Dothan; a niece, Chrissy Hatton, four nephews, Brian Hatton, Scott Leonard, Dennis Shaw, and Justin Shaw (Sara); nine great-nieces and great-nephews; and her beloved four legged fur-baby “Taz”.
