VIOLA  McCORMICK  MYERS

COLUMBIA. . .Viola McCormick Myers, a resident of Columbia, died Thursday night, July 17, 2014. She was 91.

            Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, July 19, 2014, in the Holman-Headland Mortuary Chapel with Brother David Dick officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. Saturday at the mortuary.

            Mrs. Myers was born and reared in Saluda, South Carolina and moved to Columbia in 1949. She was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Mrs. Myers was preceded in death by her husband, Earl G. Myers, and a granddaughter, Jessica Myers.

            Surviving relatives include a daughter, Jane Myers Perry (Robert), a son, Billy Earl Myers, a daughter-in-law, Joy Myers Kallies, all of Columbia; five grandchildren, Brenda Speigner (Chris), Karen Baumer (Brian), Stephen Myers (Shanna), Garrett Myers, and Juliana Zeh (Adam); ten great-grandchildren.

            Serving as active pallbearers will be Stephen Myers, Garrett Myers, Adam Zeh, Chris Speigner, Ethan Baumer, and Gavin Zeh.
