Virgil Paul (Smiley) Tindell, age 72, of Enterprise, AL passed away, Thursday, April 24, 2014 at Crestview Rehabilitation Center, Crestview, FL.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, April 26, 2014 at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Rev. Louie Reynolds officiating.  Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:30 A.M. until service time.

Mr. Tindell was preceded in death by his parents, Jacob and Vera Tindell and a great-granddaughter, Cayden Jones.

Survivors include a daughter, Charlotte Tindell and Donnie Brooks, Enterprise, AL; a son, Daniel Tindell, Medulla, New Mexico; two grandchildren, Jessica Hood; Chuck O’Neal Hood, both of Enterprise, AL; one great-granddaughter, Brylee Hood; two brothers, Farris Tindell, Knoxville, TN; Curtis Tindell, Luverne, AL; several nieces and nephews.
