            Mrs. Virginia C. Farkas of Coffee Springs passed away on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at Wiregrass Nursing Home.  She was 88.

            Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 28, 2015 in the Chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Enterprise with Reverend Bobby Weeks and Reverend David Bradshaw officiating.

            Virginia was born September 22, 1927, in Geneva County.   She was a member of Coffee Springs Baptist Church.

            She was preceded in death by her parents, Wallace and Essie Mae Crawford Newsom; her husband, Thomas Farkas, Jr.; and three brothers.

            Survivors include three sons: Thomas Farkas (Teresa) of Bethlehem, FL, Harold Farkas of Coffee Springs and James Farkas (Lonza) of Coffee Springs; three sisters: Arlene Jones (Julius) of Coffee Springs, Laura Lolley of Enterprise, and Frances Rulli of Winter Haven, FL; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
