 Virginia Daniel Spencer

 Virginia Daniel Spencer, 87, a resident of Dothan, died Monday, September 1, 2014.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday September 5, 2014 at Byrd Funeral Home Chapel on West Main Street with Dr. Johnny Fain officiating. A private burial will follow at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery in Clayhatchee. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1:00 until 1:45 p.m. on Friday prior to service time.

Mrs. Spencer was born Aug. 16, 1927 in Dale County and was a resident of Dothan for many years. She was a member of First Baptist Church.

She is survived by several nieces and other family members.
