OBITUARY FROM HOLMAN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATIONS OF OZARK   ~   334‑774‑5348

Mrs. Virginia Dansby Cannon, born March 5, 1943 in Elamville, Alabama, went to be with her Lord and Savior April 29, 2015. At the time of her passing she was surrounded by her loving family.   Funeral services will be 10:00 A. M. Saturday, May 2, 2015, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home and Cremations in Ozark with Reverend Jim Hill and Reverend Harry Circle officiating.  Interment will follow in Westview Memorial Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 5:00 P. M. until 7:00 P. M.   Mrs. Cannon was a homemaker and later owner/operator of Cannon & Cannon with her husband.  She was a 1961 graduate of Carroll High.  She was preceded in death by her mother and father, George and Minnie Dansby and her brother, D.W. Dansby.    She is survived by her husband of 53 years, William Cannon;  two daughters, Debbi (Steve) Casey, Amelia Cummings (Robert Frisbie) both of Ozark; one son, Bill (Anitra) Cannon of Auburn; eight grandchildren, Josh (Erica) Casey, Justin (Marissa) Casey, Mei Hua (Chris) Perry, Nicholas Cummings (Ashley McCourt), Maddee Cannon (Matthew Gaught), Daniel, Hannah-Beth and Ian Cannon; two great grandchildren, Jordan and Alexa Reynolds; one sister, Evelyn (Joe) Burke; sister-in-law, Sarah Dansby; and half-brother, George Earl Dansby. Several nieces, nephews and a special employee, John Sanders also survive.
