 Virginia Nell Welch Adkins of Cottonwood passed away Tuesday September 22, 2015. She was 73.

Funeral services will be held at 12 PM, Friday, September 25, 2015 at the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jimmy Cook officiating. Interment will follow in Crestlawn Cemetery in Avon with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.

 The family will receive friends from 11 AM until 12 PM, Friday, September 25, 2015 one hour prior to the service. The family will be accepting flowers or contributions may be made to Gentiva Hospice of Dothan.

 Survivors include daughters Susan Sewell and husband Bill, Sarah Monds and husband Leroy, Anita Smith and husband Mike, Denise Wright and husband Allen, son Tony Welch and wife Kim; 15 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
