WALLACE  HENRY (BOB)  FRYER

DOTHAN. . .Wallace Henry (Bob) Fryer, a resident of Dothan, died Wednesday afternoon, November 6, 2013, in a Dothan hospital. He was 77.

            Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, November 9, 2013, in the Holman-Headland Mortuary Chapel with Reverend Danny Quincey officiating. Graveside services, with military honors, will follow in Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. Saturday at the mortuary in Headland. 

            Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, c/o Randy Harrison, 1550 Parramore Road, Dothan, AL 36303.

            Mr. Fryer was born and reared in Atkins, Arkansas, son of the late Ed Pat Fryer and Ophelia Porter Fryer. He served his country in the United States Air Force and moved to Dothan in 1963. Mr. Fryer attended the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, near Grimes.  He was formerly employed by Pinckard Motor Company and several other automotive repair shops as an automobile mechanic. Mr. Fryer was preceded in death by two sisters, Ola Mae Hornick, and Opal Lee Marsh, and a brother, Edward Loyd Fryer.

            Surviving relatives include his wife, Linda Sue Henderson Fryer, Dothan; three sons, Jamey Fryer, Dothan; Paul Fryer (Jana), Rehobeth; and Bruce Fryer (Twyla), Columbiana, AL; two brothers, Floyd Fryer, and Jim Fryer, both of Atkins, AR; seven grandchildren, Amanda Grace Abel (Rick), Hope Fryer, Dean Harmon, Emily Fryer, Faryn Fryer, Billy Fryer, and Bobby Fryer.

            Serving as active pallbearers will be Arthur Hornick, Jr., Harold White, Wayne Hancock, Brady Hancock, Randy Harrison, and Tim Patrick.
