Warren Pless, age 85, of Enterprise, AL, passed away, Thursday, July 24, 2014 at his home.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 P.M., Monday, July 28, 2014 at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Sean Rezek and Rev. Bill Kidwell officiating.  Burial will follow in the church Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing.  The family will receive friends at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory, Sunday, July 27, 2014   from 2:00 until 4:00 PM.   Memorials may be made to: Wesley Chapel Building Fund designated for the Parsonage, 2331 County Road 156, Enterprise, AL 36330.

Warren retired from both the Navy and teaching carpentry at New Brockton.  He also received his Masters degree from Auburn University.

Mr. Pless was preceded in death by his wife of over 50 years, Peggy Pless, his parents, a daughter, Sharon Pless and two sisters.

Survivors include his daughter, Paula Pless Whitfield (John) Enterprise; son, William (Bill) Pless, Jr. (Bonnie) Tallahassee, FL; six grandchildren, Paul Mathis (Cindy); Jennifer McKinney Mauldin; J. R. Whitfield; Amber Whitfield; William (Xander) Pless; Austin Warren Pless; three great-grandchildren, Seth Mathis; Ema Mauldin; Aubrey Mathis; sister, Betty Johnson, Troy, AL.
