William "Billy" Andrews, 66, a resident of Midland City, passed away Monday May 4, 2015 at his residence.


Funeral services will be held 2 pm Wednesday May 6, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Tim Haley officiating and Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1pm until 2pm Wednesday.


Mr. Andrews was born may 29, 1948 in Houston County and he lived the early years of his life in Pinckard. He was a graduate of Dale County High School and was employed with Evans Supply Company for a few years. Mr. Andrews was later employed with Pemco as a sheet metal mechanic for 43 years until his retirement in 2012. He was preceded in death by his son, Adrian Andrews and his parents, Elmer and Helen Andrews. Mr. Andrews was a member of the Honeysuckle Road Church of Christ congregation.


Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Charlotte Andrews; his daughter, Andrea Hardrick; three grandchildren, Cierra Hardrick, Kinley Hardrick and Sawyer Andrews; his great-granddaughter, Alayna Hasan; three sisters, Sherry (Jerry) Hoole, Sue (Burch) Poole and Judy (Bill) Roberts; several nieces and nephews.
