William Wesley “Billy” Vonier, age 78, of Donalsonville, GA passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at his residence with his family at his side.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at 1 PM at the First Baptist Church of Donalsonville, GA with Bro. Ron McCaskil and Bro. Michael Wingertsahn officiating.

Billy was born on May 8, 1936 in Thomasville, GA to the late Wesley Vonier and Beulah Mae Thompson Vonier. Billy was a member of First Baptist Church of Donalsonville, GA. He was a loving husband, daddy and granddaddy. He was lovingly known as “Pop”. He loved gardening and the outdoors, but the greatest love was Jesus Christ and his family.

Billy is survived by his wife of 58 years, Barbara A. Vonier of Donalsonville, GA; daughter, Jean Vonier of Donalsonville, GA; son, Chuck Vonier ( Laurie) of Alachua, FL; and the light of his life granddaughters, Brenan Vonier of Dothan, AL., and Payne Vonier of Donalsonville, GA; brother, Jeff Vonier of Sumatra, FL, and numerous nieces and nephews.
