Willie Jean Cordle, 82, of New Brockton passed away Saturday, July 25, 2015, at her home. 

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, July 27, 2015, at First Baptist Church in New Brockton with Revs. Nathan Simms, Chad Hixon and David Richburg officiating.  Burial will follow in New Brockton City Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday night from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Memorials may be made to:  DaySpring Hospice, PO Box 311246, Enterprise, AL 36330. 

Mrs. Cordle was preceded in death by her parents, John Pierce and Addie Belle (Smith) Ramsey; 3 brothers, John Ramsey, Harry Ramsey and Jimmy Ramsey. 

Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Huey Edmond (Ed) Cordle, New Brockton; daughter, Paula Bowman, New Brockton; son, Eddie Cordle (David Vann) New Brockton; granddaughter, Carla Wollaston, New Brockton; grandson, Brian Bowman, Chancellor; great-granddaughters, Elizabeth Kator (Shane) and Rebekka Wollaston, Midland, TX; Cameren Bowman, Brianna Bowman and Alyssa Bowman, Coffee Springs; brother, Tommy Ramsey (Sara), Enterprise; 2 sisters, Reba Blissitte (Jon), New Brockton, Linda Rodgers, Enterprise; several nieces and nephews.
