Willine Godwin Bell passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2014.  She was born December 20, 1924 to W. R. Godwin and Alma Dansby Godwin, the oldest of three daughters.

Graveside services were held Saturday, May 10, 2014 at Shiloh Cemetery in Clayhatchee, AL with Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing and officiated by Rev. Jim Smith, Pastor of Daleville Assembly of God Church.

Willine was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Nell G. Chance, her oldest son, Willie Paul Pickett, daughter-in-law, Pat (Daniel) and her husband, Walter Radford Bell.  She is survived by her youngest sister, Naomi G. Lockhart, her children: Elaine Davis (Marshall); Daniel Pickett; John Pickett (Von); Denise Andrews (Danny); Stanley Jones (Cheryl); Stephen Jones (Melba); 11 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.  In addition, she had 6 step-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Willine enjoyed decorating her home, sewing and crafts, cooking, reading and listening to music.  She worked outside the home as a kindergarten teacher and also a Dale County school bus driver before retiring.

 Willline was greatly loved by her family and she will be greatly missed.
