            Mrs. Willodene Byrd Buxton Bradley of Enterprise, AL passed away Saturday, July 12, 2014 in Enterprise, AL.  She was 85.

            Funeral services will be at 10 am Wednesday, July 16 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home and Crematory in Enterprise.  Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 6 until 8.

            Willodene was born in Enterprise to the late Osie and Bertie Byrd on January 10, 1929.  She spent her entire life as a homemaker and at times cared for the elderly in their homes.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Byron, Wilbur and Wayne Byrd and her two previous spouses, Jack Buxton and Bill Bradley.

            Survivors include a sister, Annie Merle Logan (Bill), Enterprise; 3 sons: Mickey Buxton (Sandra), Enterprise, Terry Buxton (Donna), Oneonta, AL, Eric Bradley (Kathy), Level Plains; 3 daughters: Brenda Buxton, Meridianville, AL, Teresa Littlejohn (Joe) and Shelia Bradley; 12 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

            The family wishes to extend their gratitude to family and friends, Enterprise Health and Rehab, Gentiva Hospice, and their employees for their special efforts in taking care of our mother in her last days.
