6. We want term limits. You can have a maximum of 6 terms in the House. You can have a maximum of 2 terms in the Senate. The President and Vice President with 2 terms would also remain "as is." This means the MAXIMUM time you could spend in Washington DC would be 40 years--12 as a Congressman; 12 as as Senator; 8 as Vice President and 8 as President. This should keep the place from getting clogged up like it has with the likes of Ted Kennedy, Charles Rangel, and Dianne Feinstein. Accepting money for your political campaigns is limited to $250 per person PERIOD! Political Action Committees will IMMEDIATELY be outlawed and disbanded. Every person running for office will be given 26 hours (a maximum of one hour per week) of free TV time on all channels in their viewing area at specific time in the six months leading up to a fall cycle and 10 hours in the 10 weeks leading up to the primary elections. - continued
