Local school set's annual goal to raise $10,000 to donate to the American Cancer Society.

Dauphin Junior High School teachers do more than just teach reading, writing, and arithmetic -they also demonstrate how to give back to the community by teaming up to fight cancer. Dauphin Junior High School's Relay for Life team is on their way to meeting their annual goal of raising $10,000 to donate to the American Cancer Society. The team does numerous fundraisers, such as their annual rummage sale, sending Valentine-grams to local schools, and are even set to participate in some teacher torture for this worthy cause. They are currently gearing up for this Friday night when they will host the ultimate teacher talent show - Friday Night Live. Entertainment ranges from singing, dancing, acting, and even a little fortune telling. To help support Team Dauphin you can purchase your tickets at the door for $5.00 March 9.
