Wallace Community College Annual Science Decathlon
WCC will host the Annual Science Decathlon on November 8 on the Wallace Campus. Area middle schools and high schools are set to participate in the event, which will feature real-world, hands-on activities that promote problem-solving and team building. There are two levels of competition: Division I (grades 6-9) and Division II (grades 10-12). Students will conduct activities in General Science, Anatomy and Physiology, Ecology, Microbiology, Physics/Engineering, Chemistry, Physical Science and a Quiz Bowl.

Wallace Community College will be riding in the NPF Parade! Join us on the parade route and cheer your favorite float.

The Great Gatsby (Fall Play)
Take a trip to the roaring ‘20s like you’ve never seen before as Wallace Community College’s theatre department presents one of America’s greatest novels, The Great Gatsby.
Follow Jay Gatsby as he passionately pursues the elusive Daisy Buchanan, while a world of obsession, greed and glittering parties take the stage.
Don’t miss this show November 14-16, at 7:00 p.m. in Bencze Theatre on the Wallace Campus in Dothan. Tickets are $5.00 and can be purchased at www.wallace.edu or at the box office one hour prior to the show. Winter Showcase – WCC Music Department
The Wallace Community College Music Department will present its Winter Showcase on Thursday, December 5. The event will be held in the Bencze Theatre at 7:00 p.m. Admission is free.
Join the Wallace Chorus, Instrumental Ensemble, Wallace Singers, and the Wallace Sound as they showcase a variety of musical performances. Community guest performer Brittany Burns will perform selections on the harp.
Whether your musical tastes include traditional choral, instrumental jazz, or modern a capella, this showcase has something for everyone.

Pinning Ceremonies for Licensed Practical Nursing and Associate Degree Nursing Graduates
Wallace Community College will hold pinning ceremonies for graduates of the Associate Degree Nursing and Licensed Practical Nursing programs. The ADN ceremony will take place at 5:00 p.m. followed by the LPN ceremony at 7:00 p.m.
