Abbeville Christian Academy New Head Football Coach

Abbeville Christian Academy is proud to announce the addition of Ashley Carlisle as the Head Football Coach. This is Coach Carlisle’s second tour of duty at ACA, previously serving as the Head Football Coach and Baseball Coach for successful football and baseball programs from 2001-2004. Coach Carlisle recently served as the Offensive Coordinator for football and as the Head Coach of baseball at Lincoln High School in Lincoln, Alabama.

 

Coach Carlisle has served in the same roles at several schools such as, Leeds High School, Bessemer Academy, Lowndes Academy, and Crenshaw Christian Academy. Through his coaching and playing experiences he has been involved with 10 State Championships. He has been chosen for coaching honors by the Birmingham News, the Alabama Baseball Coaches Association and the Alabama Independent School Association.

 

Coach Carlisle graduated from Brantley High School and received his BS degree from Troy State University (now Troy University). He is married to Melanie Money Carlisle and they have three daughters: Lyla 5, Lily 3, and Lola 1.
