Headland Dixie Youth defeat Alexandria

The Headland Dixie Youth Majors team defeated Alexandria 10-3 in the opening game of the State Tournament in Hokes Bluff. Headland was leada the plate by Ryan Rose with 2 three run homers, Josh Bower with a three run homer and Dave Loftin with a solo home run. The winning pitcher was Dylan McKnight pitching the first three innings without allowing a ba se runner. Chase Wilkerson pitched the final three innings for the save. Wilkerson also added a double at the plate.
