DOTHAN:     08:53 AM.    Last evening I rode by Lowe’s, Ross Clark Circle and Hartford Highway. The entrance on Ross Clark Circle was empty, nothing was there.

TONIGHT it will be filled with people, grills, smoke and some of the most delicious Boston Butts and Ribs you will ever eat.

It is the SARAH ELIZABETH GOREE MEMORIAL BOSTON BUTT SALE. 

Proceeds go to support the Southeast Alabama Child Advocacy Center.

SARAH ELIZABETH GOREE is the daughter of Bill and Lisa Goree, the sister of Seth Goree and sister in law to Erin Goree.

The Goree family along with a host of family and friends will be on hand working night and day cooking the Boston Butts and Ribs. They will be ready for purchase beginning Thursday. They are sold on a first come - first serve basis.

The sale runs Thursday through Saturday or when the last butts and ribs are gone. Last year they were gone by Saturday so you better hurry beginning on Thursday to get yours.

SARAH ELIZABETH GOREE was in Dothan High School when as a passenger was involved in a motor vehicle accident on Westgate Parkway off Main Street. It was in 2001 and her life was tragically taken in the auto accident.

The Goree Family wanted to do something special in memory and honor of Sarah so they started the SARAH ELIZABETH GOREE MEMORIAL BOSTON BUTT SALE. A time to reflect on a great person, Sarah, and help a worthy cause which is the Child Advocacy Center.

The Goree’s and host of family and friends, many friends who take their vacations to help, work very hard to make this a success.

The Goree’s are a great family and you will not find a better family or friends then the Goree’s. Come out to Lowe’s on Thursday to get your butts and ribs.
