ALABAMA:    09:44 AM.    ATTENTION VERIZON CUSTOMERS IN ALABAMA


The Verizon customers are experiencing a delay when dialing 911 or not making connection with 911 at all. No other wireless carrier appears to be experiencing the problems, only Verizon customers.


This problem is on the Verizon side and not on the 911 system side.


If you are unable to connect to 911 please use your local 10 digit number to your local law enforcement agency.
