DOTHAN: 09:50 AM Dothan 911 dispatched Dothan Police - Dothan Fire and Pilcher Ambulance to a serious/critical motor vehicle accident, Ross Clark Circle South in front of the old K-Mart.
The accident involves a motorcycle and a passenger car.
Dothan Police units arrived within seconds of dispatch and immediately began treating the patient on the scene. Dothan Police applied a tourniquet to the patient prior to paramedics arriving.
Dothan Fire Engine 4 ( Southside ) and Pilcher Ambulance is on the scene along with Dothan Fire Battalion Chief Ash and Deputy Fire Chief Chris Etheridge.
This is a trauma alert. Dothan Fire Paramedics are working with the victim.
Dothan Police in charge of accident investigation.
At 09:56 AM Patient is being loaded into the ambulance for emergency transport.
