ALABAMA:     The court system as you are aware is closed to the public.


If you have a case, criminal or civil, in any county, you need to make sure of the following:  


*     If you do not have an attorney, you need to mail notice to the Clerk of Court in the county your case is with a CORRECT AND ACCURATE address. A address that you get your mail at where it is opened and looked at.


*     If you have a criminal case, do not have an attorney but have a bondsman, make sure the bondsman is notified of a current address where you will receive mail that is opened and read, along with a cell phone number or email address for  text messaging program where the bondsman can notify you when cases are set for court.


*    If you have a criminal case and have an attorney, make sure to notify the attorney of a CORRECT AND ACCURATE mailing address of where you get mail and it is opened and read along with a cell phone number and email address.


THE NUMBER ONE WAY TO GET MESSED UP IN THE COURT SYSTEM IS NOT TO HAVE AN ADCCURATE MAILING ADDRESS WHERE MAIL IS RECEIVED, OPENED AND READ ALONG WITH ACCURATE PHONE NUMBER.


This information is for ALL COURT CASES IN ANY COUNTY OR MUNICIPALITY.  Mail this information in do not take off in person to the courthouses or municipal complexes and file this in, but do not procrastinate in putting this off.


We are providing this information in order to prevent your later missing court when cases are resumed. So be proactive. Just because of COVID-19 does not mean your court cases will disappear.


The accurate information listed above is probably the most important in your court case of anything at all as of right now.


This is for all courts, those in a municipality, district or circuit in any county where you might have a case at. Do not go in person but mail it in.
