DOTHAN: 10:32 AM. There is no fire. No ? fire.
At 10:22 AM Dothan 911 dispatched Dothan Fire units to Harvest Church to smoke visible in bathroom in Children’s Department.
Dothan 911 updated responding units to smoke odor.
It is Sunday morning. Always large crowd at Harvest on Sunday’s. Dothan Fire response was based on actual structure fire.
The fire engine was on the scene in five minutes, 10:27 AM. All responding units were instructed to Level One staging, which is stand by fire hydrants, prepare for deployment but do not connect to hydrants.
The first engine arriving is investigating.
By 10:31 AM the primary engine reported no fire, a faulty switch, all units could return to service.
Responding: Dothan Fire Engine 2 ( Lakewood ), Engine 3 ( WESTGATE ), Truck 3 from WESTGATE which is aerial truck, Dothan Fire Engine 1 ( Central ), Battalion Chief, Pilcher Ambulance, Dothan Police.
