10:30 PM Major Investigation Underway In Geneva County

GENEVA COUNTY:    10:30 PM      Geneva County Sheriff Tony Helms, members of the Geneva County Sheriff Department, other agencies are on an apparent large investigation.

On Alabama Highway 167 at Geneva County Road 45 there is a large law enforcement presence at a home.

Along with the Geneva County Sheriff Team, Hartford Police Department, Houston County Sheriff Donald Valenza, Dothan Police Bomb Team are among some of the agencies we could see on the scene.

Have not bothered Sheriff Tony Helms with the details. It is expected he will release details sometime tomorrow. At the time he is on the scene and in the middle of the investigation.

There are no deaths involved. The investigation has to do with locating someone and other items. So no cause for alarm in the community. No one, as we understand, is on the run or been injured. Just certain things in the investigation warranted the multi agency response.
