HOUSTON COUNTY: 10:33 AM The Houston County Commission announced all Houston County buildings will close at 11 AM today in light of the latest Hurricane Sally information.
Houston County Sanitation will continue their route.
WAIT - we are closing the offices where the people work inside and not in the weather. But we continue the workers in the truck on the roads where the rain is beating down and they are getting wet. We do have one man garbage trucks that are automated but ...????????????????
Oh well, government has never made sense!
Stay tuned later if the inside workers will be off but the outside workers will be working.
