HOUSTON COUNTY: 8:28 PM. Houston County Sheriff 911 dispatched emergency units to a critical motor vehicle accident on Highway 84 near Water Oak Drive.
The accident blocked the west bound lanes of traffic. Houston County Sheriff Deputies, ALEA - Trooper Smith, Bay Springs Volunteer Fire Department and Wicksburg Fire - EMS responded. Dothan-Houston County Emergency Management Director Chris Judah was on the scene.
UNOFFICIALLY it appeared both the motorcycle and passenger car were traveling west on Highway 84. Unofficially it appeared the car pulled from the median into the path of the motorcycle. The motorcycle struck the car in the rear.
Wicksburg EMS, on arrival, was a load-n-go patient, trauma alert which was transported to Southeast Health.
ALEA - Trooper Smith is in charge of the accident investigation.
